Monday, August 8th, 2022
August Board Meeting Minutes
August 8, 2022

• President Kerr called the meeting to order at 7:03 PM

• Directors present: Lee Kerr, Ernie Sammons, Randy Ballard, Greg Elkins, Stephanie Brock,
Allen Howard, Bill Thiry, Jim Fluty and Larry Disney, Craig Vaughn,
John Myers and Jonathon Campbell.

• Greg Elkins read the minutes for the July 11, 2022, meeting.
Craig Vaughn motioned to approve the minutes as read.
Jonathon Campbell seconded the motion.
The motion carried 12 – 0.

• Ernie Sammons presented the Treasurers report for July 2022.
Allen Howard motioned to approve the report as presented.
Craig Vaughn seconded the motion.
The motion carried 12 – 0.

• Bill Thiry presented the Registrar’s Report for July 2022.
No action was taken.

• Chris Dixon gave a Caretaker Report.
No action was taken.

• Lee Kerr gave an update on the litigation involving Tommy Cook.
No action was taken.

• Ernie Sammons made a made a motion to amend the budget by moving $2,000.00
out of a fence repairs line and moving a like amount into a litigation line to pay attorney
fee invoices that have exceeded the current budget amount.

The motion passed 10-2.

• Lee Kerr updated the Board concerning the potential by-laws revisions, stating that the
revisions should soon be ready to present to the Board for its consideration.

• Lee Kerr informed the Board that the road at the Estill Farm had received some damage
during the recent torrential rains. Some of the recent repairs have been washed away.
Likely there will be additional repair work will be needed.
No action was taken.

• Jonathon Campbell made a motion to adjourn.
Allen Howard seconded the motion.
The motion carried 12-0.
The meeting adjourned at 7:30 pm.
