November 1, 2021
• President Kerr called the meeting to order at 6:34 PM
• Director’s present: Lee Kerr, Ernie Sammons, Greg Elkins, John Myers Craig Vaughan,
Stephanie Brock and Allan Howard. Randy Ballard was present by phone.
Directors absent: Jon Campbell, Todd Wilson, Jim Fluty, Mike Lowery.
• Meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.
• Prayer was led by Lee Kerr.
• Secretary Greg Elkins read the minutes for the October 2021 meeting.
John Myers motioned to approve the minutes as read.
Craig Vaughn seconded the motion.
The motion carried 8 – 0.
• The treasurer’s report was read by Treasurer Ernie Sammons.
Allan Howard motioned to approve the treasurer’s report as read.
Craig Vaughn seconded the motion.
The motion carried 8 – 0.
• The Registrar presented his report to the Board.
• Caretaker gave a report of his activities since the last meeting.
• President Kerr gave an update on the Caretaker House remodel and repairs.
• President Kerr gave an update of the Bluestone, informing the Board that the bluestone
activity will be carried out in 2022.
No action was taken.
• Ernie Sammons made a motion to accept Allan Howard’s bid for painting at the Caretaker House.
Craig Vaughn seconded the motion.
The motion carried 7 – 0 with Allan Howard recusing due to potential conflict.
• Craig Vaughn made a motion that the Washington and Estill County Farms be restricted to
shotgun, or muzzle load fire arms ONLY beginning January 1, 2022.
Ernie Sammons seconded the motion.
The motion carried 7 – 0 – 1 with Stephanie Brock choosing not to participate in the vote.
• Randy Ballard made a motion to remove Mike Lowry from the Board of Directors in
accordance with Article 4, Section 3 of the Clark County Fish and Game Club by-laws.
John Myers seconded the motion.
The motion carried 7-1 with Stephanie Brock voting no.
• Craig Vaughn motioned to adjourn.
Allan Howard seconded.
Motion carried 8 – 0.
Meeting adjourned at 7:14 pm.
After the meeting several Directors remained to stuff envelops for the purposes of mailing
ballots for the upcoming Board of Director election.
