Section 2. Social Media Directive
The Clark County Fish & Game Club, Inc. (referred herein as Club), respects the right of any shareholder to maintain a blog or website or to participate in social networking on or through websites or services such as Twitter, Facebook, or similar sites/services (collectively “social media”). However, to protect the Clubs interests and because shareholders individually may not necessarily share the views of the Club as a whole, Shareholders must adhere to the following rules:

a. When using social media, if a shareholder mentions the Club and also expresses either a political opinion or an opinion regarding the Club’s actions, the poster must specifically state that the opinion expressed is his/her personal opinion and not the Club’s position. This is necessary to preserve the Club’s goodwill.

b. Be respectful of potential readers and colleagues. Do not use discriminatory comments, or make maliciously false statements when commenting about the Club, shareholders, and/or members of the Board of Directors and/or the Board of Directors as a whole.

c. Shareholders may not use the Club’s logos or titles that express, imply or could be construed as a Club post.

d. Shareholders shall not maintain any social media site that could be construed, expressed or implied as the Club’s official social media site.

e. Any conduct which is impermissible under the law if expressed in any other form or forum is impermissible if expressed through social media. For example, posted material that is discriminatory, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening or implicating the Club of wrongdoing is forbidden.

The Club encourages all shareholders to keep in mind the speed and manner in which information posted through social media can be relayed (and often misunderstood) by readers. Shareholders must use their best judgment. Shareholders with any questions should review the aforementioned guidelines. When in doubt, do not post!

Failure to follow these guidelines shall result in discipline, up to and including suspension and or expulsion from the Club by majority vote of the Board of Directors. In enforcing this policy, the Club reserves the right to monitor social media activities of shareholders, to the extent permitted by and in accordance with applicable laws.

Section 3. Security and Safety.
Security and Safety are outlined as follows:

Club members are charged with the responsibility of policing all rules and regulations. Such enforcement can be achieved without personally confronting anyone by submitting known information that includes the infraction and approximate time of day by electronic means, verbally or in writing (i. e. individual’s name if known, boat sticker number, Kentucky Boater Registration Number, vehicle license number, etc.) to any Board member.

The Clark County Fish and Game Club, Inc. assumes no responsibility for accidents or injuries to members or guests while on Club property or while using Club facilities. Members are responsible for making themselves and their guests aware of the dangers that may exist around water and should protect themselves and their guests accordingly.

The Board of Directors shall have absolute authority to act on any occurrence not specifically covered by these constitutions and by-laws.

Any member of the Clark County Fish and Game Club, Inc., in good standing, may appeal any action of the Board to any Board member of the Clark County Fish and Game Club, Inc., in writing. The Director so notified shall present said appeal to the attention of the Clark County Fish and Game Club, Inc. Board of Directors immediately upon being so notified of the appeal request. The request for appeal shall be presented to the general membership at a meeting of the Clark County Fish and Game Club, Inc. as soon as possible following the request.
