Monday, January 10th, 2022
January Board Meeting Minutes
January 10, 2022

• President Kerr called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM

• Director’s present: Lee Kerr, Ernie Sammons, Randy Ballard, Greg Elkins, John Myers, Craig Vaughan, Stephanie Brock, Allen Howard, John Campbell, Larry Disney, Bill Thiry and Jim Fluty.

• Meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.

• Prayer was led by Lee Kerr.

• President Kerr turned the meeting over to Secretary Elkins for the purpose of electing a President
for the calendar year 2022.

• Secretary Elkins called three times for nominations for President
John Myers nominated Lee Kerr for President.
No other nominations were made for President.
The nominations for President was closed.

The nomination for Lee Kerr as President was approved 10 – 2. Fluty voted no. Brock initially
voted yes but changed her vote to a no.

• Secretary Elkins turned the meeting over to President Kerr.

• President Kerr asked three times for nomination for Secretary.
Craig Vaughn nominated Greg Elkins for Secretary.
The nominations for Secretary were closed.

The nomination for Greg Elkins as Secretary was approved 10 – 2 Fluty and Brock voted no.

• President Kerr asked for nominations for Vice President.
Bill Thiry nominated Larry Disney for Vice President.
No other nomination were made for Vice President.
The nominations for Vice President was closed.

The nomination for Larry Disney as Vice President was approved 12 – 0.

• President Kerr asked for nominations for Treasurer.
Jonathon Campbell nominated Ernie Sammons for Treasurer.
No other nomination were made for Treasurer.
The nominations for Treasurer was closed.

The nomination for Ernie Sammons as Treasurer was approved 10 – 2 with Fluty and Brock voting no.

• President Kerr asked for nominations for Registrar.
Allen Howard nominated Bill Thiry for Registrar.
No other nomination were made for Registrar.
The nominations for Registrar was closed.

The nomination for Bill Thiry as Registrar was approved 10 – 2 with Fluty and Brock voting no.

• Secretary Greg Elkins read the minutes for the December 2021 meeting.
Allen Howard made a motion to approve the minutes as read.
Craig Vaughn seconded the motion.

The motion carried 10 – 2 with Fluty and Brock voting no.

• Jim Fluty made a motion to amend the December 2021 minutes to include a more detailed
narrative of the motion he made to remove Ernie Sammons.
Stephanie Brock seconded the motion.

When it was clear that no one had the full narrative of the motion, Allen Howard made a motion to
table the original motion until the full description could be viewed by the board. Because no one
knew what they would be voting on, Jonathon Campbell seconded the motion to table.

The motion to table passed 10 – 2, with Fluty and Brock voting no.

• The treasurer’s report was read by Treasurer Ernie Sammons.
Jonathon Campbell motioned to approve the treasurer’s report as read.
Larry Disney seconded the motion.

The motion carried 12 – 0.

• Treasurer Ernie Sammons gave an update on the 2022 budget preparation.

No action was taken.

• The Board decided to continue to postpone the meals while we see where this new COVID variant
Omicron will play out.

No action was taken.

• President Kerr gave an update on past due dues payments.
There are currently 7 member not paid.
5 of those members say the “check is in the mail”.
The remaining 2 members are not yet decided what they want to do.

No action was taken.

• President Kerr gave an update on the ongoing litigation. It appears that the other side has
decided to continue to drag this out for no apparent reason. The Board will continue to see this
ended as soon as possible despite the opposing side’s best efforts to stall, again for no apparent
reason.

No action was taken.

• Craig Vaughn motioned to adjourn.
Randy Ballard seconded.

Motion carried 12 – 0.

Meeting adjourned at 7:23 pm.
