CLARK COUNTY FISH & GAME CLUB, INC. BOARD MEETING MINUTES
Thursday, August 20th, 2020
August 20, 2020

Meeting called to order at 6:10 PM.

Nine Board Members present. Randy Steagall, Jim Fluty and Mike Lowry were absent.

One guest: Greg Elkins

The Special Meeting was set up in two parts with the first being a discovery session on the new web page design and the second to discuss the Facebook page being used with the Clark County Fish and Game Name on it.

1. First Session:

a. Secretary Dewey Pope welcomed the board members and Adam Norsworthy of ATL Media Marketing Company.

b. Adam Norsworthy conducted the meeting as a discovery session to give the board a complete idea of what he and his company can, and will, offer. The board had already approved using ATL to design the new webpage for the club and has made the first installment payment of three. There will be two to three mock ups to get the general consensus of what the board likes and wants to go with. He discussed all the different categories for links, drop downs, banners, events, color schemes etc. to include on the new page. It was discussed to have Bill Thiry work with him to help make the transition from the old page to the new as Bill was the CCFGC webmaster for the past several years. It was also discussed to set up a separate data base for all the security type information as it is not needed on the webpage itself. Dewey Pope was assigned as the lead with two or three back-ups to start the initial process. Adam will contact us in a few days to set up the first training session.

c. The first session of the Special Meeting adjourned at 7:28 PM.

2. Second Session:

a. It was brought up by President John Myers that there are concerns about the Clark County Fish and Game Club Facebook Page. Tommy Cook created and manages the page. It was brought up that the board had not officially sanctioned, or approved, the page. Tommy was asked to take the CCFGC name off the page and use his own name or another name to manage it. There was a lengthy discussion on the page, postings made on it, and if it should be taken down. It was determined that the board could not have Tommy take the page down as it was not officially sanctioned, or approved, by the board.

b. Second Session was adjourned with the next regular board meeting to be held on August 31st, 2020.

3. Meeting adjourned at 8:00PM.

Minutes prepared by Club Secretary Dewey Pope and were officially accepted and approved at the August 31, 2020 Board meeting.
