Monday, November 11th, 2019
November Board Meeting

11-11-2019

Meeting was called to order at 7:23 pm.

Board members William Elkins and Greg Elkins were absent.

9 guests were in attendance.

A motion was made by Jonathan Campbell to accept and approve the October Board minutes. Second by Bill Thiry. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Bill Thiry to accept and approve the November Treasury Report. Second by Mike Lowry. Motion carried.

The floor was opened to public comment.

Presentation by Aquatic Control about the lake is scheduled for February 2020 Meeting.

The Board discussed repair to the plank fence.

A motion was made by Bill Thiry to repair Duck blinds.

Second by Jonathan Campbell. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Bill Thiry to allow the Clark Co. Bass Teamís coach Billy Damron, a key to the gate for Bass Team to practice.

Second by Tommy Cook. Motion carried.

The Board is accepting bids for Gatehouse repairs at the lake.

A motion was made by Bill Thiry to accept bid from Bradley Hardy for $512.57 to replace rotted floor in the guest bath of the Caretakers house at the Waterworks location.

Second by Wayne Joslin. Motion carried. Tommy Cook opposed.

A motion was made by Bill Thiry to allow the Fort Boonsboro Association to conduct their annual meeting at the Clubhouse on 1-11-2020 at no charge.

Second by Jonathan Campbell. Motion carried. Mike Lowry opposed.

A motion was made by Tommy Cook to resend the motion from February,11 2019 for the Caretakers Contract Lin #6, due to lack of proper vote count.

Second by Bill Thiry.

After discussion, a motion was made by Tommy Cook to resend his previous motion and table until December meeting Or until Greg Elkins returns.

Second by Bill Thiry. Motion carried.

Rufus Cravens gave the Caretakers Report.

A motion was made by Todd Wilson to accept and approve the November Caretakers Report.

Second by Jonathan Campbell. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mike Lowry to allow himself and Tommy Cook to eliminate the Otter population at the WMU Lake, as long as approved by WMU.

Second by Bill Thiry. Motion Failed for lack of votes.

As stated in Roberts Rule or Order, a meeting is not adjourned until all Board Members have voted on a motion to adjourn.

A motion was made by Randy Steagall to adjourn meeting.

Second by Jonathan Campbell. Motion carried and meeting adjourned at 9:10 pm.
