|Board Meeting Minutes Monday, August 12, 2019|
Meeting called to order at 7:26 PM.
Randy Steagall absent.
Larry Stewart made a motion to accept and approve the July Board Minutes. Second by Jonathan Campbell. Motion carried.
Jonathan Campbell made a motion to accept and approve the July Treasury Report. Second by Dewey Pope. Motion carried.
Jim Fluty asked the Board about turning the water back on at the Hume Farm.
Tommy Cook made a motion to have the water turned back on at Hume Farm.
Second by Wayne Joslin. Motion carried.
Jonathan Campbell made a motion to have Guarantee Pest Control take over the pest control services for the CCF&GC Clubhouse.
Second by Greg Elkins. Motion carried.
Bill Thiry made a motion to have hire Aquatic Control to complete a survey of the lake, contingent on the Club following their recommendations.
Second by Jonathan Campbell. Motion carried. Mike Lowry and Greg Elkins opposed.
Dewey Pope made a motion to sell the Estill County Farm.
Second by William Elkins.
Dewey Pope also wants a letter sent out to all CCF&GC Members notifying them this is being looked at, and giving them a chance to vote on their preference.
The Board took no action regarding this letter.
Greg Elkins made a motion to table this motion until the next scheduled Board Meeting.
Second by Bradley Wall. Motion carried. Dewey Pope, William Elkins, Tommy Cook opposed.
Greg Elkins made a motion to post on the CCF&GC Website and Facebook page, and on the door of the Clubhouse the intent to sell the Estill County Farm.
Second by Todd Wilson. Motion passed. William Elkins opposed.
Bill Thiry discussed the situation with the HVAC system in the CCF&GC Clubhouse.
Jonathan Campbell made a motion to get estimates on having a new unit installed.
Second by Todd Wilson. Motion carried.
Discussed the situation with the electrical problems at the Estill County Farmhouse.
Bill Thiry made motion to have Roger Wilson replace the main panel, install all new breakers, and repair the short in the bathroom at the Estill County Farmhouse.
Second by Mike Lowry. Motion passed. Dewey Pope and William Elkins opposed.
Tommy Cook made a motion to have ballots turned in by 5 PM the Saturday before the December Meeting, and to count the votes on Sunday.
Second by Wayne Joslin.
Todd Wilson called for a roll call vote.
Tommy Cook, Jonathan Campbell, Dewey Pope, William Elkins, and Wayne Joslin voted for the motion. Bill Thiry, Bradley Wall, Larry Stewart, Mike Lowry, and Greg Elkins opposed.
Motion failed. (Required 2/3 vote)
Jonathan Campbell made a motion to accept the Caretakers Report.
Second by Larry Stewart. Motion carried.
Larry Stewart made a motion to adjourn.
Second by Greg Elkins.
