Monday, May 13th, 2019
May Board Minutes

5-13-2019

Meeting was called to order at 7:28 PM.

Board Member William Elkins was absent.

Eight guests were in attendance.

A motion was made by Bill Thiry, to accept the resignation of Greg Elkins as President of the Board of Directors.

Second by Wayne Joslin. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Greg Elkins to elect Todd Wilson as President of the Board of Directors of the Clark County Fish and Game Club.

Motion was second by Bill Thiry. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Dewey Pope to elect Wayne Joslin as Vice President of the Board of Directors.

Second by Bill Thiry. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Greg Elkins to accept and approve the April Board Minutes.

Second by Larry Stewart. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Greg Elkins to accept and approve the minutes of the special called meeting held on April 15, 2019.

Second by Larry Stewart. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Dewey Pope to accept and approve the April Treasury Report.

Second by Greg Elkins. Motion carried.

The Meeting was opened to public comments.

Discussion was had about people who drive too fast around the property as well as a trailered boat that is parked in the wrong area.

Discussion was also had about Youth Fishing Derby preparations planned for 5-16-2019.

Discussion was had about the fish stocking and habitat, W.M.U and the Estill County farm.

Billy Damron with the G.R.C. Bass Team addressed the Board about bringing approximately 25 grade school children to the club to fish on May 20, 2019.

The board discussed the heat pump at the Estill County farmhouse. Estimate to replace with a Honeywell unit by Climate Control of $4,551.00

A motion was made by Greg Elkins to accept the Climate Control bid.

Second by Bill Thiry. Motion carried, with Dewey Pope, Mike Lowry, Todd Wilson, Wayne Joslin and Tommy Cook opposed.

The Board discussed the water heater at the Estill County farmhouse.

A motion was made by Randy Steagall to get bids not to exceed $1,000.00 and use the lowest bid to procure a new water heater.

Motion second by Jim Ginter. Motion carried.

Rufus Cravens gave the May Caretakers Report.

A motion was made by Randy Steagall to accept and approve the May Caretakers Report.

Second by Dewy Pope. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Randy Steagall to adjourn.

Second by Bill Thiry. Motion carried and the Meeting Adjourned at 9:11 PM.
