CLARK COUNTY FISH & GAME CLUB, INC. BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The meeting was called to order at 7:25 PM.
Board members James Ginter and Mike Lowry were absent.
12 guests attended the meeting
A motion was made by Todd Wilson to accept and approve the March Board Minutes. Second by Bradley Wall. Motion carried
A motion was made by Todd Wilson to accept and approve the March Treasury Report. Second by Larry Stewart. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Wayne Joslin to allow Troop 75 Boy Scouts of First United Methodist to build goose boxes for the club.
Second by Todd Wilson. Motion carried.
Dewey Pope gave the board an update on Youth Fishing Day.
Rufus Cravens gave the Caretakers Report.
A motion was made by Todd Wilson to accept and approve the April Caretakers Report.
Second by Randy Steagall. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Greg Elkins to have a committee consisting of Todd Wilson, Tommy Cook and Wayne Joslin to contact Mr. Freeman about contracting the Estill County Farm.
Second by Bill Thiry. Motion carried.
The Board scheduled a work day for May 11, 2019 at 09:00 AM.
The Board has discussions about boat trailer storage and boat scrap area; the shooting range at Estill County; and the stocking of the lake.
A motion was made by William Elkins to form a 5 person committee to research and determine fish species and quantities to be stocked in the lake, not to exceed $3,000.
Second by Bill Thiry. Motion carried with Bradley Wall opposed.
Committee will consist of Mike Lowry, Dewey Pope, Wayne Joslin, Tommy Cook and Randy Steagall.
The Board discussed getting the dock back in place.
A motion was made by William Elkins to allow Tommy Cook to resume mowing the hay areas around the club and lake areas.
Second by Larry Stewart. Motion carried.
The Board discussed the prep of the dove field.
The Board discussed perpetual road maintenance, having strategically placed gravel piles along the roadway.
A motion was made by Bill Thiry to have 4 piles of dense grade gravel staged along the roadway.
Second by Todd Wilson. Motion carried
The Board thanks and recognizes Ernie Sammons and John Myers for their generous donations to the Youth Fishing Day event.
A motion was made by Todd Wilson to adjourn.
Second by Wayne Joslin.
Motion carried and the meeting adjourned at approximately 8:45 PM.
