The board meeting was called to order at 7:25 pm
Randy Steagall was absent from the meeting. VP Todd Wilson took the board meeting minutes.
The board had two guests sit in on the meeting. They were James Ginter and Wayne Joslin.
The board received 4 letters from candidates for the board for 2019. They were Wayne Joslin, James Ginter, Jonathan Campbell and Larry Disney.
Bill Thiry made a motion to accept the treasureís report as read. Seconded by Walter Newell. Motion Passed
Bradley Wall made a motion to accept the September Board Meeting minutes as read. Seconded by Larry Stewart. Motion Passed
The board was told the work on the parking lot would start September 17th weather permitting.
Tommy Cook made a motion to have Todd Wilson oversee the repair of the gravel road but not to exceed $2,000.00. Seconded by Bill Thiry. Motion Passed.
Rufus Cravens gave the caretakerís report. Jonathan Campbell made a motion to accept the caretakerís report. Seconded by John Ballard. Motion Passed.
John Ballard asked to see all receipts for the cost of the dove field. Lee Kerr said that he would have them at the next meeting.
Tommy Cook made a motion to have the board take over putting the dove field out next year. Seconded by Todd Wilson. Motion Passed.
The board discussed what happened with the dove field during the meeting and tabled further discussion till next month when all the people involved in putting in the dove can be present at the October Board meeting.
The board discussed looking at the gutters and making sure that they are draining properly and some of the board members said that they would look at them.
Lee Kerr made a motion to pay the Hume Farm manger $250.00 to put in food plots. John Ballard seconded the motion. Motion Passed.
Lee Kerr made a motion to put gravel at the Hume farm existing parking area but not to exceed $500.00. Seconded by Bill Thiry. Motion Passed.
Todd Wilson made a motion to close the shooting range at the Estill Farm from October 1st to December 31. Seconded by Lee Kerr. Motion Passed.
Bill Thiry made a motion to accept the dues bill that will be mailed out as they are stated. Seconded by Larry Stewart. Motion Passed.
Todd Wilson made a motion to have all board members pay their dues portion in the December board meeting in front of all other board members. Seconded by John Ballard. Motion passed.
Todd Wilson made a motion to approve the voting ballot that Bill Thiry presented the board for the upcoming election. Seconded by Tommy Cook. Motion Passed.
Bill Thiry made a motion to approve these board minutes. Seconded by Joe Young. Motion Passed.
Meeting adjourned at 9:06 pm.
