LAKE CONDITION

Throughout these extreme hot summer temperatures and low water conditions, attempting to control the floating moss mats and algae has not been really successful.

Working in concert with WMU, CCF&G has applied 2000 pounds of copper sulfate (bluestone) in two separate applications, one in June & another in July, with another scheduled for early August. However, the August application has been precluded by the recent storms in the area. We hope to make this application the week of August 8th, weather permitting.

Please bear with us as we continue to try to make the lake conditions more conducive for both shore and boat fishing.
